AFC South Predictions

I think people will be surprised whom I pick to finish in last place in the AFC South.

The Titans were very close to going to the Super Bowl last year if they didn’t have to play the Steelers for a second time and this year they will be making another run for it. They will be competing in the same division with the Colts who are lead by Peyton Manning and while I believe the Titans will start of the season with a loss they will cruise to a divisional championship. The only question is “how hard is the loss of Haynesworth going to be to the Titans defense?”

Titans - Steelers AFC Championship game?

Titans - Steelers AFC Championship game?

The Colts will be playing for second place in the division and a wildcard spot in the playoffs. In another division you never know how the Colts would finish.

That leaves us with Jacksonville and Houston. Houston after a couple first round selections the past several years and a young team coming into its own will have its best year so far, but not good enough to catch the Cots or Titans, but enough to finish ahead of the Jaguars.

I’m picking Tennessee to win it with the following finishing as:

2. Indianapolis

3. Houston

4. Jacksonville
