The question isn’t who will win the AFC West. The question is who will come in second to the San Diego Chargers. The Chargers have the top defense in the division, Phillip Rivers is proving to be the quarterback everyone thought he could be and they have the duo of LT and Sproles. I don’t see them not winning the division, but how far they go into the playoffs is to be seen.

AFC West Champs?

The question is how will everyone else finish in the rest of the AFC West. Denver lost Cutler to Chicago and return got Orton. Who made that deal?? You have Brandon Marshall and his troubles, a rookie running back and new coach. Where in Oakland they are up and coming on the offensive side of the ball. Oakland brought in Jeff Garcia which should help them out a lot and they are loaded at running back, but their defense has a lot to be desired.

Kansas City will be hurting with the loss of Tony Gonzales and Larry Johnson has been less and less productive the past two season, but they still have a fairly decent defense.

I’m picking San Diego to win the division and the rest to follow like this:

2. Oakland

3. Denver

4. Kansas City
